Copenhagen might just be one of the more stylish cities in Europe.
The architecture, the fashion, the bicycles, the shopping and food all roll into one Scandinavian city that you can’t help but enjoy.
In 48 hours, we saw landmarks, ate incredible food, shopped and wandered beautiful streets.
Ok, now photos!
First up, Torvellherne.
A gourmet food market with independent stalls, including some incredible tacos.
Then, shopping. We were both huge fans of Danish style prior to our visit to Copenhagen. Now we are slightly obsessed! Our favourite streets were Strøget, Stædet, Pilestræde, Jægersborggade and Elemagade.
Then, Tivoli Gardens
This place is a Nostalgia overload – with old-school theme park rides and beautiful gardens, it’s located in the heart of the city.
First up, breakfast at Grød.
This place redefined how porridge should taste. Caramel sauce, apple and roasted almonds make the perfect travel breakfast.
Then, Assistens Cemetery – Historic, leafy and is the resting place for Hans Christian Andersen, who wrote The Little Mermaid, The Snow Queen and The Ugly Duckling.
We then took to the water on a guided canal boat tour. This was a great way to get an overview of the city.
Then, a drink by the canal.
Well played, Denmark.
