It’s Spring in England, which means two things:
– Firstly, it’s not entirely terrible weather any more. Whilst it’s not a tropical paradise, the smallest part of you can’t help but hope for a warm(ish) day.
– Secondly, it’s time to change-up your weekend outfit. It’s time to leave the gloves at home, and the scarf too. Maybe you can even leave your winter coat behind too.
I’ve teamed up with Urban Outfitters to show you the Weekend Essentials – those staple items that won’t just transition you into the next week, but into the next season as well.
Last weekend I hit the streets of Cambridge in my Weekend Essentials. It was a good time.
Enjoy the post!
First Essential: That Navy Jacket
The Urban Renewal Vintage Surplus Wax Navy Jacket is the perfect weekender. It’s a vintage piece that’s been restored and remade for the modern adventure.
Second Essential: That white top
You can’t lose in this Shore Leave Short White Sweatshirt. Well, maybe you can… but at least you’ll look good.
Third Essential: Those Black Jeans
Because navy with black is the new black… These here are the Loom Rollins Washed Black Slim Fit Jeans.
Fourth Essential: Those Brown Boots
The right pair of boots will have you feeling on top of the world and grounded at the same time.
Just kidding. They’re only shoes.
But still, there’s something about a good pair of boots that just feels right. My brown boots are from the back of my wardrobe, where will you find yours?
Last essential: Those Sunglasses
Nothing makes you feel like you could take on the world like a pair of Ray Bans. They don’t just change the way you look; they change the way you see.
After strolling the streets of Cambridge in my weekend essentials, it was time for a pint by the punts.
Gotta be honest, it’s not the worst weekend I’ve ever had.
Hope you enjoyed a more fashion-related adventure post. Please, let me know what you think below… OR, for more updates on what’s happening with @phebrown and @brownchris, don’t forget to follow the blog!
Lastly, a HUGE thanks to @urbanoutfitterseu for the weekend essentials, I’m hugely grateful!
